Google has officially debuted the Pixel 6a, albeit with pricing in US dollars (US$) only, leaving consumers in additional countries where the new mid-range smartphone might also become available wondering how much they have to pay for one. If... only if, Google stopped crippling (disabling 5G and VoLTE) whenever the owner of that device inserts a SIM from a carrier from a country where Pixels are not officially sold.
This effectively kills Pixels as a took for people who travel a lot and use "local" SIMs in many countries. Besides being evil from Google to do so.
