The alleged detection of a new Xiaomi device on an official Chinese database has led to speculation that it will be unveiled as a new variant of the 12 series of Android flagship smartphones. However, rather than a previously-rumored model such as the 12 Ultra, this one has a completely new model number, and is thus now tipped to become a (literally) maxed-out Pro instead.
