Huawei has been thought to launch its next premium foldable smartphone as the Mate X3; however, one of the OEM's top executives has just officially revealed that the Mate Xs 2 instead. In even more unexpected news, this imminent 2022 model even reprises the older, external-screen design of its OG predecessor.

Why, oh why, Huawei? Why did you have to be so greedy, pricey, and selfish, huh (and that NK bad decision, really)? You could've easily taken out Sammy by now and it would have been just you and Apple going back and forwards taking the no.1 spot, FOR YEARS!

All money is not good money, right?! A very hard lesson to learn that may cost you indefinitely.
Don't worry folks. Huawei will be back. 3D stacked chips coming soon on older nodes will have similar performance to newer. Huawei started building some fabs after US sanctions. In 7-10 years Huawei may be capable of making cutting edge chips on their own. Even if that fails, the trick of stacking chips in 3D can buy them some more time...
