Unlike Nvidia that was recently forced to terminate the ARM deal, AMD managed to get all the needed approvals and successfully finalized its Xilinx acquisition deal for US$30 billion. AMD CEO Lisa Su announced that the first HPC processors to combine x86 cores and Xilinx programmable engines should be launched in 2023.
