Instagram has announced its new plans to help curtail hate speech and harmful content on its platform. Computer algorithms will estimate whether a post promotes harmful speech or incites violence if it is close to a post that previously violated the company's Community Guidelines. If a post is deemed potentially harmful, it will be showed lower in the person's Feed and Stories.
