At the end of a successful Indiegogo campaign that raised almost one million Euros by early May 2020, the Astro Slide 5G was supposed to arrive in March 2021. Now, there are over 5,000 backers and 2.2 million Euros involved. The device is on display at CES 2022 and shipments are scheduled to kick off in March.

Finally, it's official. I've been waiting for this phone to go live. Speaking of Linux support, I'd love to see this phone running Manjaro ARM mobile distro. That would be wicked, especially when using its Phosh Desktop Mode.
