Qualcomm has announced a re-brand of its Snapdragon portfolio, effective the Snapdragon 8 Gen1. Other changes are afoot too, such as dropping Qualcomm and 5G from product names. Qualcomm has confirmed that the date when it will debut the Snapdragon 8 Gen1, too.
