New information pertaining to AMD Ryzen 7000 mobile APUs indicates Phoenix-H parts will offer up to eight 5 nm Zen 4 cores at up to 40 W while Raphael-H will go up to 16 cores and 32 threads above 45 W TDP. The mainstream desktop Ryzen 8000 series will come in two flavors — an all 3 nm Zen 5-based Granite Ridge CPU and a Zen 5 + Zen 4D-based Strix Point APU.

Raphael-H could just be a slightly tweaked Raphael desktop chip put into laptops. Since Raphael desktop is expected to have some weak integrated graphics and all laptops with them would use a discrete GPU anyway. There's your first chiplet-based APU for laptops.

3+ Watts per core on TSMC 5nm would be sufficient for some good 16-core performance.
