Intel has unveiled the NUC P14E, a modular laptop with high-end hardware. The NUC P14E has a 2K and 3:2 display, a 77 Wh battery, biometric authentication options and an aluminium build. The NUC P14E has more ports than most conventional laptops, too.

Where can I purchase one?
Probably at the typical resellers, Schenker, XMG, Eluktronics etc.

I think this will be a different kind of beast, if it uses the compute element the typical Schenker XMG etc won't probably touch it but imo it's a great idea. Kind of a toned down version of the framework laptop if intel really allows for future upgrades.
Framework is still ahead imo but this looks better than most at least
Here comes another mega corporation stealing a startups idea, the framework laptop is a wonderful laptop that is actually modular yet here's Intel saying they have this brand new original idea... Pathetic.... >:(
Since it is modular, I wonder if we could get it with a very small battery instead.
Many people end up using their laptops around the home, almost like desktops so there isn't much point in them spending money and weight on a big battery.
