The iPad Mini 6 is expected to launch this fall and a new leak has revealed some important features of the cheaper Apple tablet. Particularly notable on the spec sheet are a Type-C port and an A14 Bionic beneath the hood.

It appears the physical dimensions are growing about 3mm in both the length and the width. That's OK with me. The larger viewable area would be nice, too. That extra half inch across the diagonal should be noticeable.
I'm not too excited about the processor. The A12 in the previous generation Mini seemed to do just fine. The A14 in my iPhone honestly doesn't do anything better for me.
I seriously wish they had adopted some kind of higher contrast ratio technology for the display, whether that be mini-LED or OLED. Without that, it is doubtful I will be tempted enough to part ways with my Gen5 mini in favor of this new model. The price tag simply isn't worth it for me.
