Acer only grants the installed GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU a relatively low TGP. As a result, the frame rates are clearly below average. A firmware update provides some improvement.

3080 with a 1080p 144hz panel, a 3060 can max this out. Should be 1440p/120hz or 1080p 240/360hz.
Well, its literary a "waste" of silicon.
Nitro 5 series are built for budget gamers. they combine mid-tire or high-end CPU + low-end or mid-tire GPU. They are solid choices for gamers with low budget.
The problem in here is the RTX 3080. Its literary wasted in this chassis. Acer should implemented it in its other products; like Predator series laptops.
As Daniel said earlier, the panel option is underwhelming for the RTX 3080.
Its a shame.
