Chinese behemoth Tencent has enacted new measures to curb gaming addiction among minors. People under 18 will now be allowed to play Honor of Kings only for an hour on weekdays and two hours on weekends/public holidays. There are additional limitations on how much money minors can spend on in-app purchases, too.

This is good, gaming addiction is a plague among young men both east and west. We have invented addictive and entertaining ways to literally waste years of your life. Many otherwise bright young men end up doing poorly in school as a result of these things
This can be just as insidious as a narcotic addiction
Great. In the meantime the western societies leave the kids to play as much as they want. They will have their heads destroyed by the time they reach 20 yo.
How about limit how long the people who are commenting on this post in favor of this measure can surf the internet? Addiction affects people in different things and ages. Would they agree to it? It is up to parents to educate children. Not big companies or governments. This is pathetic.

Yeah, and look at how well the war on drugs is going. How about f*** off out of people's private lives and stop trying to save them from themselves?
