Finding AMD or NVIDIA's latest desktop graphics cards at reasonable prices has been almost impossible since their launch. Not only has their scarcity pushed prices to insane levels, but it has also inflated the re-sale value of older cards. Thankfully, the prices of AMD Radeon RX 6000 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3000 series cards are now starting to come down.

If they want people to buy them then they had better get prices back to normal. No way will I pay even 2x still.
People are buying them at that price, that's exactly why the price was able to inflate to 2-3x the MSRP.
As Brandon says. They are that price because people paid that price for them, mainly to mine crypto currencies. Crypto price has fallen massively so card price has fallen
