The next major upgrade to Android, simply known as 12, has started on its path to a final form with the launch of its second beta. The vice-president (VP) of engineering at the OS' team has released an interesting statistic to go with this new milestone: its immediate predecessors apparently attracted the most downloads and installs of any pre-stable Android version in its history.
