Title: New PlayStation 5 model number more likely for a hardware revision rather than an upcoming PS5 Pro or PS5 Slim variant

A new model number for the Sony PlayStation 5 console has been spotted in documents filed with a Peruvian government communications agency. However, it seems more likely the number will be used for a hardware revision rather than a completely new console such as a PS5 Pro or PS5 Slim model.

I clearly remember "analysts" telling us the PS5 was going to be "a flop" at launch. Hmm these 'experts' seem to have scuttled off somewhere now.....

Must be the easiest job in the world, this "analyst" gig. Simply tell media outlets you're an analyst, spout some prophetic guesswork, cash the cheque, then scarper once you realise you've got it totally wrong.

I just received a PS5 disc version today via Direct and the box is labeled with model number "CFI-1115A". So it's just another base model variant, not a Pro or Slim.
