Sony has announced the XAV-AX150, XAV-AX8100 and XAV-AX5600 as its latest AV auto receivers. Sony asserts that they deliver clear, bass-heavy in-car audio thanks to the OEM's proprietary technologies. The new units also feature HDMI inputs for the first time, as well as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and WebLink Cast.

Are there other differences between these new models and their predecessors (AX-100, AX-5000/5500, AX8000)? Specifically I'm wondering if the microcontroller that runs the GUI has been upgraded. So possible improvements would be that the head unit boots faster, or feels snappier when using it, compared to the older models. Thanks.
