Gigabyte has introduced new mid-range gaming laptops powered by both Intel Comet Lake-H and AMD Ryzen 5000H Zen 3 options. These laptops are aimed at the multi-tasking crowd that also likes to game. The Intel-based Gaming G5 and G7 and the AMD-based Gaming A5 and A7 share many features with the Aorus gaming series including the Windforce cooling system.

"battery capacity seems to be a tad low at just 48.96 WHr"
You mean 96.48 WHr right? RIGHT?? Must be a typo.

Says 48.96 in the spec sheet. Will confirm again with Gigabyte
@Vaidyanathan
Thanks for checking, I hope this is a mistake on their end.
QuoteGigabyte didn't offer any pricing and availability information yet but said that the new Gaming series laptops are now available for pre-order across all sales channels.
Long time lurker, first-time commenter here! While Gigabyte may not have said it officially yet, I just check Hidevolution.com today and see that they are letting you preorder the A5 for $1299 for the RTX 3060 variant and A7 for $1399 for the RTX 3060 variant and they estimate it coming around early February. Seems quite reasonable!
The only gaming laptop left with touchpad buttons? This might be the one I get!!
So is it just Asus that has sell record of Zen2 vs Skylake laptops last year?
They are the only one that put Zen3 in higher tier gaming laptops and left Tigerlake in the TUF.
It looks like these are just a re-badged CLEVO chassis. Specifically, the NH58.
In which case, the ACTUAL news here is that Clevo has a new NH58 serires with Ryzen H CPUs and higher end GPUs.
Previously, the only AMD systems they had were the bigger NH57 (with desktop processor) and an ultrabook line.
