The Pavilion's hardware brings all modern computer games smoothly onto the matte 15.6-inch screen (IPS, Full HD, 144 Hz). The latter scores points with fast response times and good color reproduction. This is complemented by an NVMe SSD and 16 GB of RAM (dual-channel mode).

if only it weren't so damn ugly
I own this! And thank you for the review!!
I went with my gut feeling to get this one as I desperately needed one since my old laptop wouldn't work anymore. It's perfect for rendering and gaming on the side as a designer on a budget, plus accurate colors are of great help as a designer.
The quality of the built could be definitely be improved, and the logo on the lid looks sh*t. So I just covered it with stickers from my travels.
This should be a great device until the 5nm CPU & GPUs hit the laptop market.
