The German mail order company Otto has already listed the PlayStation 5 on its webshop at short notice. The next-generation Sony console has been priced at almost €1,000 for 2 TB of storage, which would be unexpected enough but for the fact that it is the Digital Edition that lacks a disc drive.

Very nice. So the purchase price advantage which consoles had will be lost forever. I strongly hope there won't be too many exclusives for the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5, as these will be quite the beasts to emulate later on.
No need for such wild speculation, I'd be very surprised if Sony didn't reveal the pricing and pre-orders start date in the upcoming 25 years of Playstation event (September 9th).
