Our sleek and ultralight external drive is marred by random disconnects and general unreliability. We can only hope that our experience was an isolated incident and not representative of Lexar's brand new SL200 series.

We bought one recently.
After a few hours of copy paste of the data, photos, movies inside, it froze.
After a reboot of the PC, the Lexar was out of order.
We went back to the shop.
They open it and we found glue between the chip and the metal plate (cooling plate).
We saw how it was cheaply made, with "leaking glue" before it dried.
The Lexar overheated due to this defect.
Lucky, we did not Cut & Paste during the transfer. Or we would have lost huge amount of data.
