Title: The Android 10 update for the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T may have introduced a notable bug
Post by: Redaktion on June 28, 2020, 10:12:03
The OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T finally received the stable Android 10 update weeks ago—the third major OS update the phones have received. Sadly, though, the update seems to have broken an important feature on the phone, and owners aren't too thrilled about it.

There is a workaround, disable "ok Google" activation for assistant/Google now and call recording will be back to normal

Cheers!!!

It also broke the camera video stabilization!
In fact, they even wrote that in the update notes and said it'll be fixed in a future update. But a month later there's no any indication if and when they'll fix it. How hard can it be to fix the video stabilization??
Or OnePlus simply doesn't care about their older phones and is totally OK with buggy updates...

Yes, even my call recordings are distorted and robotic voice. Some are fine but most are bad

Try turning speaker phone on and off for a quick fix until an official update is released

Yes same happened with my OnePlus 5T device as well. The call recording feature turned the normal human voice into a slow speed robotic or synthetic voice. Please help me resolve this issue.
