QuoteA Samsung Germany press release suggested that the Lakefield version of the Galaxy Book S would start at €1,129 (US$1,255).

Word of wisdom for all writers.

You cannot convert Euros into US dollars and expect the device to sell for that much in the US. Europe has VAT tax which doesn't exist in the states. Prices in Euros translate directly in numbers to US dollars. 1129 Euros = $1129 US.

I don't know how many times I've seen that case be true.

Oh, and kill the recaptchas because they are annoying and are at best a disservice to users. It's a very lazy way of catching spammers!

Does anyone know if it is possible to run Linux on the new Lakefield Galaxy Books? Could be a great option for a portable and nice Linux notebook and with the Intel processor rather than the ARM version I would expect less obstacles.
