Apple is considering a large US$330 million investment in a microLED manufacturing plant in Taiwan. The investment would be a joint venture with Epistar and AU Optronics. This investment could lead to the use of microLED displays in future iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, and MacBook Pros.
