For years, some ThinkPad fans are hoping that Lenovo brings back the old IBM ThinkPad keyboard layout with seven rows. A dream which remains unfilled, except for the one-off Lenovo ThinkPad 25. At least, there is a new external keyboard with the classical layout, made by the Taiwanese startup TEX. The new TEX Shinobi keyboard has a ThinkPad TrackPoint as well.

Looks like something that solidly belongs in the 90's.
It's not cheap, but its not expensive for a mechanical KB. Also its fully programmable with macros. Not only can you program the function key to make coding a dream (Fn H home, L end, D delete, etc), but you can bind other keys to act as a numpad. This is great for games like Ark, finally I can use the taming groups without busting out a separate USB numpad which defeats the purpose of having a TKL KB!
