Windows konnte am Smartphone-Markt zwar keinen Fuß fassen, dafür erfreut sich Microsoft Office auf Android ausgesprochen großer Beliebtheit. Mittlerweile verzeichnet Word mehr als eine Milliarde Installationen, aber auch Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote und OneDrive sind äußerst erfolgreich.
