Google is reportedly pulling the plug on making its own tablets and a successor to the Pixel Slate. The company is looking to channelize its development efforts towards laptops and we may very well see a new Pixelbook by the end of this year. The development of Pixel phones and Google Home products will continue as usual and so will the software development of Chrome OS to cater to all OEM form-factors.
