Lenovo erweitert seine Workstation-Linie mit einem 14-Zoll-Modell. Das ThinkPad P43s ist dabei kein komplett neues Modell, sondern es baut auf einem anderen ThinkPad-Laptop auf, dem ThinkPad T490. Das gleiche gilt auch für das größere Schwestermodell ThinkPad P53s, das auf dem T590 basiert.
