Hi,
Those interested at Netgear Nighthawk M1 could also check Huawei Mobile WIFI Pro2, model E5885Ls-93a (I have it for about one year). It has a bigger battery (6400mAh/23Wh), is smaller (about 110x68x22mm) then Netgear Nighthawk M1 and works without problem. After trying several hotspots, only this one catches a network (on manual model) and doesn't change to another data network when network signal weakens, ...important when you live near a contry border (roaming).

As a negative side, don't expect to receive automatically firmware or security updates from Huawei. Also support page doesn't exist.
However unit works well.
