GitHub hat angekündigt, dass man künftig Entwickler von Open-Source-Software auf der Plattform direkt finanziell unterstützen kann. Damit entsteht für Entwickler endlich eine einfache Möglichkeit ihre Software Open Source zu betreiben und gleichzeitig Geld zu verdienen, wovon die Plattform durchaus profitieren könnte.
