Thanks for a great review!

The only thing that you miss is the HDMI compatibility.
I just talked with MSI support, cause my external monitor at 120hz only goes to 60hz max... and MSI confirmed that the HDMI only supports 60hz monitor.
I am really disappointed cause I just upgraded to this from my 5-6 years old HP omen laptop, which actually supportet 120hz hdmi monitor! :(

I hope someone like me who also use this as a portable desktop pc, sees this and thinks twice before they buy.

There is another version for this laptop which is 9750H with GTX 1650. Can
you write a review for this laptop as well?   I am curious about thermal on keyboard,  Noise and performance before considering to buy this laptop. Thank you very much.   8)

Just bought this due to getting to try a friends GF63, very nice laptop, this just looks bigger and better!

However, when you talk about fan RPMs, you can actually go into dragon center and select the fan RPMs yourself, this was the biggest selling point for me, seing as you can even go into eco mode and set fans at 0% (Downclocks to 800-1200Mhz but for total silence), No other laptop brand had this good fan control that I could see, even acer nitro/predator, very neat feature while in a classroom etc when you don't need full on performance but can still use it for presentations etc. Only downside is that you need power since the battery is mediocre.

This goes the other way around aswell, can increase fans and set your own fan curves in the advanced mode, so It'd achieve higher clock speeds.

Would've loved if you explored those options!

Anyhow great review, can't wait to receive my unit. Think I'll be happy though considering It's just a better GF63 from what I could gather! :D

Best Regards.

(Oh and the wifi adapter is crap, I did order an intel 9560 with the laptop. Else gaming is impossible.)

"Make it thin and light." This is probably what the engineers at MSI heard when being given the task of creating the MSI GF75 8RD. And the result is: thin and light. But how does the flyweight gamer fare under full load? After all, the MSI GF75 is not made for office work. It is directed at the gaming community. Can the thin MSI keep up with the high demands of gaming or might this design have taken its toll on the laptop's abilities?
