I'm trying to find some comparisons between the AMD Radeon Pro WX 3200 and the NVIDIA GeForce MX250, but there is still not much information about the AMD card. How do they compare? Which one is better? I tend for the AMD, which has 4GB and the NVIDIA only 2GB.

Here the laptops I'm deciding to buy:

  • ThinkPad T490, i7-8565U, 24 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce MX250 (2GB) + Intel UHD 620
  • HP ZBook 14U G6, i7-8565U, 16 GB, AMD Radeon Pro WX 3200 (4GB)

So, as you see the main difference are two things:

  • RAM: This can be actually upgraded later
  • The graphic card itself

So, which card would be better?

The refreshed models are coming next month with a handful of internal updates to improve both performance and security including Sure Sense, Sure View Gen3, brighter displays, and 8th gen ULV Intel Core with vPro. The designs and sizes are otherwise exactly the same as last year's models.
