My V20 is the last LG product I will buy. This is really lousy treatment of their customers, especially on a phone that was their 'flagship' when I bought it.
When my phone battery gets to 15%, it just dies. I replaced the battery to no avail. Screw you LG.

The problem is not just the number of updates. It's the shitty optimization which leads to a snapdragon 820 lagging much worse than a 625, and a very shitty battery life.

It's like all good software engineers left LG for Oneplus, Samsung (with how much better their UI snappiness is now) and all other OEMs

Ain't no update coming for the v20....they say 3rd qtr 2019 but that is just far enough way for people to forget and then they can push it back another 6 months then cancel it all together. Don't even get security updates anymore, not expecting anything, they want us to buy new, we already know how this game works.

LG V30+ :
They push the download of a patch to remove the Calling Plus feature MULTIPLE TIMES EACH DAY, even though I reject it each time.  Worse, the notification just says it's "an update" without any info without clicking on it, which could accidentally install it without my approval.

It looks like V20 owners will have to wait a few more months before they see Android Pie on their device. LG will not be updating the device before the summer according to its recently published Q2 2019 update schedule. The V30, V30S ThinQ, V35 ThinQ and V40 ThinQ are in luck though.
