Rugged Notebooks sind nicht unbedingt für elegantes und schickes Design bekannt. Mit dem Latitude 5420 Rugged stellt sich Dell diesem Spagat und versucht, das Design dezent zu halten ohne gleichzeitig Robustheit und Stabilität zu opfern. Im Ergebnis bleiben ein paar Kleinigkeiten zwar auf der Strecke, insgesamt überzeugt das Latitude 5420 Rugged aber trotzdem.
