If it does exist, nvidia will have 4 whole model number series in one generation with the 20s, 16s, 11s, and MX2s.
A+ for consumer confusion.

I see only two options for this card:
1) slightly better than 1080 which is around 2070ish without ray tracing - what for, 1080 already exists.
2) better or even with 2080 without ray tracing and (hopefuly) cheaper - it's like shooting your own foot. Killing ray tracing before it begun.

I think they should fully switch to RTX and ray-tracing, that is the future, not FPS in the hundreds.

According to what appears to be a Staples employee training document that has recently surfaced on Reddit, the upcoming HP Omen Obelisk 875-0xxx series desktop will feature the yet-to-be-announced NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1180 as its top video card option. While this could be a typo, it could also be the name of a non-RTX flagship product.
