Or use 2 sodimm slots so that people can choose between 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 32 ... 64 GB of memory. Spectre x360 15 is the best choice in the 2-in-1 performance category. XPS can only be described as anti-consumer.

Also I would never buy a laptop with soldered memory out of principle. Regardless of whether it is 12 or 17 inches.
