The only thing I would love to have seen in this article is a bit about Googles Auto Update policy for the Chromebooks. This Lenovo C330 when released had an AUP/EOL of June 2022, then Google noted that it will have a AUP/EOL of at least June 2023 and hopefully June 2025 with manufacture support... This is important to note since someone is going to buy on and only to find out that the lifespan of this is only a few years.

GREAT REVIEW. Very detailed, we are far from the simple unboxing review. This review convinced me after looking at so many different Chromebooks... I was thinking of the Dell Inspiron Chromebook 11 2-in-1 at 40$ less but this review convinced me to spend an extra 40$ instead and get this one. Thank you for your hard work.

Really good review!
As an expert in tech, do youknow if it is possible to charge the C330 with a usb c  cell phone charger (15w)?
Thanks

Hi. I just got this Chromebook lenovo laptop. I really like your very detailed review even if I didn't understand most of it : )
A couple of questions:
- when open as a normal laptop, the screen wobbles every time it's touched. Is this normal? Can I tighten it by myself (can't see any screws)?
- I have hundreds of documents in Libre Office Writer and now I am finding out that the Chrome doesn't recognize it. Any suggestion of how to copy batches of these documents into laptop without purchasing dreaded MSWIndows?
Thank you in advance!

@Roger Clark:
Glad to hear this review was able to help you! It's really hard to beat the C330 under $300, and if you can catch it on sale, that's even better.
I've been fairly impressed with Chrome OS's integration with Android and how far it has come. I personally had a Chromebook from 2013-2015 and sold it right when Android was getting going on Chrome OS (via Arc Welder), so I love that Google has continued to support the OS. The fact that Linux is now on Chrome OS Stable sweetens the deal even more.
Enjoy your device!

After scouring the web doing a TON of research on what I can get for my under $300.00 budget, I settled on the Lenovo C330.  It checks all the boxes for me, and this article was instrumental in my final decision.  Thank you for all the very useful information!

The Lenovo Chromebook C330 is one of the most balanced Chromebooks to cross our review desk. While there are some weak points (notably the keyboard and port selection), these are minor flaws in an otherwise excellent package.
