Can you annotate pdf documents with the pen on the e-ink display?

I have the original yoga book with the atom processor..this is a really well done review and if the price ever gets right I would buy one since a bit more power would be fantastic!..was surprised when the article said that there was no back lighting?..the keyboard function is lit so that it can function..at least in the original  version!  what is the issue here?..I only hope that Lenovo continue on a quest to better this invention..The portability of these units is amazingly practical and the hinge makes for a lot better system than a clip off keyboard (which I hated on another system I had)!

Excellent, very detailed review.   This article is amazingly rich with numerous, specific measurements.  Thank you for doing such a thorough analysis of this product.

As to this product itself, I am impressed with the innovation of the eInk keyboard.   Very impressive.   I plan to buy this unit and use it as my main lightweight computer and use it for meeting note-taking.  In this purpose, the pen-sensitive eink display may work very well, and when combined with a general purpose PC I'll have a nice combination of both a powerful electronic note taker along with sufficient power/display for doing general email etc.  My only wish is that Lenovo would release the LTE version in the USA.

Again, very thorough and excellent review.   Thank you.

4Gb Ram in 2019?? Is it a Joke??
Lenovo!! What the hell R U doing?

This will be one of the best 2in1 device in the world, if it has 8GB Rams, 8. Gen Intel CPU, and a 11 or 12 inch display, in this size!

This size is the best! It is very comfortable, and portable, and very good to use! But the hardware sucks.

Come on Lenovo! Come on!!  Please take 8GB Rams in this device!

obvious deal breakers at a glance

- CPU should be 4 core ULV
- E-Ink needs backlight
- Battery has to be 70+ Wh
- I/O should include HDMI and USB-A
- Device must be repairable and user serviceable
- Starting price at $800

An interesting concept, but maybe next time.

The new Yoga Book has an E-Ink display instead of a keyboard and can be considered a combination of a laptop, a tablet and an e-reader. On top of that, you can also digitalize text and drawings with this allrounder. The device is based on its predecessor from 2016 but offers many changes and improvements. For instance, it provides better performance. On the other hand, it has also dropped at least one feature. Is the 2018 Yoga Book worth twice the price of the old version? Find out in our detailed review.
