Count me amongst the World of Tanks players (with thousands of games and Tier X vehicles) who quit the game. WoT is totally pay to win nowadays. Seriously, buy a Premium Tank and shoot Gold rounds or... well... lose. There is no excuse for paying for ammo that increases your penetration from 258mm to 340mm. It doesn't matter if there are grinding ways to obtain that ammo. Wallet warriors will shoot them all the time and everyone else will be out classed.

I am so sick of free-to-play games that are pay to cheat. Who wants to spend hundred of hours grinding to be clubbed the wallet warriors? I'll much rather the game be pay to play. Maybe they can make Tier I to III free to play to give players a taste of the game with no financial commitments. But let it cost credits you buy with real money to repair a tank above that but make everyone equal. Committed players who play a lot or full fill certain missions can win credits so they don't have to pay as much.

Also, not everyone enjoys massive multiplayer games. There is a market there for Single Player, storied campaigns. There are people who are not interested in player-to-player matches and interaction. These people are not attracted to match maker contests between players anyway, so enabling single player mode does not really cannibalize multiplayer participation significantly.

Adding a few BS logos for people to stick on their tanks doesn't do anything to bring players back! It's quite honestly, pretty retarded.

Although some issues that have been around for ages — such as idle players, a broken matchmaking system, and bots — have not been addressed, World of Tanks 1.3 comes with large-scale decals, a few reworked maps, a new map for the Grand Battles mode, tweaked Personal Missions, and other minor changes.
