yes.  intel predicted it's loss of market share and colluded with top executives at Lenovo and hp to make these exact statements.  you bloody idiot.

This alleged chip shortage is probably just another marketing trick to downplay the inevitable market loss to AMD, similarly to when they implied that AMD was also affected by Meltdown. Some of Intel's marketing strategies are truly embarrassing.

How hard would it be to show a graph where the price axis starts from zero. Therefore people can decide whether the price skyrocketed or not.

The industry is one month into a shortage of 14nm CPUs from Intel, and according to HP CEO Dion Weisler and Lenovo COO Gianfranco Lanci this will continue for another 6 months. They have recommended AMD as an alternative thanks to their "good performance" and "fantastic portfolio."
