i think this one have super charger so why people let it charge when sleep? just xharge it when you want take a bath voila the phone charged 90% and that is the best to charge phone nowaday not reahcing 100% to keep a longlife battery. please just leave smsg alone don't bring the other

@Muliawan surely there must be safeguards particularly designed to prevent this, since everyone overcharges during the night.

For sure he always leave the phone overcharged all night everday, and its normal soon or later will be exploded

Probably his charger was extremely crappy. I use a 2.1 A non-standard charger that came with a non-name Android tablet and never had any problems charging the Mi A1, a Maze Blade, and a ZTE Open C with it. Too bad not everyone seems to be as lucky as I am.

A user on Xiaomi's MIUI forums has reported that their Mi A1 went up in flames while they were sleeping beside it. Xiaomi is yet to respond.
