Wow, that's a bigger notch but with the top bezel in line with the side bezels. This is the exact opposite of LG's route which thickens the top bezel to be in line with the bottom bezel rendering the notch smaller.
Both are better than a top bezel with thickness in between the side and bottom bezels yet still with a notch, at least these two companies are finally paying some basic attention to the aesthetics of the implementation of the notch.

For the second time in a fortnight, Google has had to sit by and watch as one of its brand new devices gets sold in the wild ahead of its official unveiling. While a Chromecast 3 got sold early by accident, an unscrupulous Hong Kong store is cashing in by selling the Pixel 3 XL quite deliberately early.
