Pretty, however 1,400 USD and Y-CPUs should not have been used in a same context.

You can get an entry level LG Gram 13 with i3-8130U processor, FHD touch screen and 72 Wh battery for 800 USD. Despite the core M/Y series' low TDP, i3s are more powerful and efficient as proven times again here in NBC. Not to mention, the Gram is 2 lbs, has an open RAM slot, x2 M.2 NVMe SSD, all the ports you need and a proper keyboard and touchpad.

Mid-range business laptops with 8th gen Intel i3 can be found at around 600 USD, which is the absolute most I would pay for the Spectre Folio.

Dual-core Amber Lake-Y CPUs will debut on the Spectre Folio convertible when it launches later this month for $1400 USD. Perhaps not by coincidence, the announcement was streamed live this morning in the very same city that Microsoft will be holding its Surface press event scheduled for October 2nd.
