Finally a laptop that has slim bezels like our laptops back in 1992!

Thank you Samsung, you really know how to bring back nostalgia, and if you're already at it, could you please add the same bezels in your smartphones, tablets, cameras (oh, wait they died), TVs, monitors and LFDs?

The thicker the bezel the better.

Except that it plainly cannot compete with GS65 or Blade 15 because they're not at all compatible. The Odyssey is 2.5 kg / 54 Wh whereas the "portable lightweights" are around 2 kg / 80+ Wh and offer a range of premium features such as design, build, factory-calibrated screen and up to 1070 MQ Optimus. Not even close.

Instead, this comically overpriced $1,800 Samsung laptop competes with $1,000 range of gaming laptops with GTX 1060 counting Acer Predator Helios 300, Dell Inspiron G7, Clevo N series, etc. And how ironic that the Odyssey has aesthetically and practically the worst design out of them all.

It could be better, but there are far uglier gaming laptops out there.

Ugly?! Well, looks are subjective, but personally i'd call it weird, but not ugly

Samsung is banking on its striking chassis design to draw in gamers looking for an ultra-thin notebook akin to the MSI GS65, Asus Zephyrus GX501, or Razer Blade 15. The Odyssey Z was available first in Asia before finally making its way to North America for quite the hefty asking price.
