How can I connect 2x 1080p 60Hz displays and extend my desktops using the single USB-C port that supports DisplayPort?

Will it work via the ThinkPad docking stations designed for the ThinkPad X1 Extreme?

Most likely the Y730 will get whatever the eventual 1060 and 1070 mobile chip replacements are called. Will be interesting to see the price of a 1060 or 2060 Y730 vs the narrow screen HP omen 15 1070 laptop.

How relevant is this update now when Nvidia is releasing the next generation of GPU:s?
Pretty much "outdated on release".

The announced pricing was in Euro, not US-Dollar – so US pricing might be a bit different.

Happy with the announcement, but isn't the jump in price a bit too big? From 1000$ to 1400$ just because of the 1060. Unless they'll upgrade the thermals too.

When Lenovo released this years lineup of Legion gaming laptops, they were a downgrade in terms of GPU performance. A few months after launch, Lenovo will rectify this – at least when it comes to the less expensive Legion Y530.
