I'm always looking for the fastest (and safest) way to charge my devices but the layer of wireless interoperability always confuses me.

I'll give my example:
I have an LG V60 ThinQ, which supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ (maximum 100W with Quick Charge and 27W with USBPD) and supports Qi wireless charging. It was released on 20 March 2020.

Upon looking at the Qi wikipedia page, Qi can give me 5W, or 15W with a an Extended Power Profile (uh, what?), or 30W with Extended Power Profile 0 (double what??), and then if it is Qi2.0 compatible (2023) it is definitely 15W. Qualcomm said in February 2019 that they would support Qi with "Quick Charge for Wireless Power". Good luck finding out what any of that means.

So can I wirelessly charge my phone at 100W? Not officially with Qi. Can I charge it at 30W? Who knows? Why do these companies develop "standards" and then not provide information to the consumers? It's maddening, but also kind of fun to research...

A comparison of various different quick charge technologies has shown that Huawei SuperCharge has the highest charge rate, along with OnePlus Dash Charge. Meanwhile, the non-OEM specific technologies trail behind, as does Apple Fast Charge.
