Über den offiziellen Weibo-Account hat Huawei verkündet, dass das MediaPad M5 ein Leistungsupgrade spendiert bekommt und sich so noch mehr vom Vorgänger abheben soll. Das Upgrade besteht in dem implementierten Support für die GPU Turbo Technologie.
