Looks like LG is going down the same path that HTC went down.  Probably end the same way as well; you can't treat your paying customers like dirt and expect to remain in the industry....

The LG G6 is currently receiving its Oreo update. This is an update to Android 8.0 and, considering how long it's taken to be sent out, will likely be the only major update the last-gen flagship receives.
