Essentially a mix of 2018 Dell XPS 13, Lenovo X1 Yoga, LG Gram, and Huawei Matebook X Pro:

- XPS 13's tuned cTDP, sustained load performance, power saving tweaks
- X1 Yoga's 2 in 1 convertible chassis, quiet fans, excellent keyboard, good ports, IR webcam with shutter on top, farfield microphones, array of sensors for tablet, socketed WWAN and WLAN, screen options, customizability, additional business level warranty and service plans
- Gram's light and high density battery, upgradable RAM, x2 M.2 2280 NVMe slots
- Matebook X Pro's dolby speakers, large touchpad, MX150 (1D10) dGPU, 3:2 aspect ratio display, high-end touchscreen
- 13"-17" screen sizes, Intel U-series i3-i7 and AMD Ryzen chip selections, low starting price point

-webcam above the screen
-two ssd sata/nvme slots (bootable BIOS option)
-4k resolution
-all-black matte aluminum unibody design

1 why users know more than the designers?
2 why designers not follow users preferences?

It would be great if Dell could work on the following features on the XPS 13 9380:
- 32GB RAM (though it would still be nicer to have non-soldered memory)
- better, larger keyboard similar to Latitude 7490 or Alienware 13 R3
- quieter cooling
- better sustained CPU performance
- maybe a better GPU similar to the MX150 with min. 2GB RAM
- less tiny speakers
- easier to access, service and replacable RAM, M.2 (full speed) NVMe 2280 slot

I really love the size and footprint of the XPS 13, but it just is too weak for 4K video editing.
And also the 7490's touchpad + buttons.

Lack of a matte display option was one of the pain points of the Dell XPS 13 9370, making it a tad difficult to use under direct light or outdoors. We had a chance to speak to some panel manufacturers during Computex 2018 and luckily, they tell us that the upcoming XPS 13 9380 will feature a matte display option. Also, based on the information thus far, we get to speculate that HDR panels are a likely possibility in the upcoming XPS lineup.
