The display backlight flickers at 25000 Hz (Likely utilizing PWM) Flickering detected at a brightness setting of 20 % and below. There should be no flickering or PWM above this brightness setting.

The frequency of 25000 Hz is quite high, so most users sensitive to PWM should not notice any flickering.

Devices listed with a "0" did not show big brightness fluctuations in our measurements.

I dont understand this. Aren't these conflicting statements? I thought that if the number was high, it was not good and that I should be looking for a "0" when I looked at the chart. I am looking at an Acer 3 some have high numbers and some have 0.

Core i3 – now with Turbo. The Aspire 3 A315-51 scores well for its powerful processor, fast SSD and reasonable price. There is no Windows OS installed though, and the display and battery life are unimpressive.
