Bisher gibt es Speaker Mods für die Moto-Z-Serie nur von Drittherstellern wie JBL, nun bringt Motorola ihre eigene Stereo-Speaker-Mod heraus. Mit einem Preis von 60 US-Dollar ist es zwar etwa 20 Dollar preiswerter als die Mod JBL Soundboost 2, allerdings fehlt der Moto Stereo Speaker Mod auch eine entscheidende Funktion.
